Instructions:
This card was fun to create for a variety of reasons! Top two are that I LOVE Heartfelt paper….I kinda hoard it….., and that it brings back a great memory. A memory when I was initially introduced to Heartfelt Creations and learning how to make an easel card watching the spectacular Nikki Payne. All this at the start of still unresolved health issues that have me stranded at home most of the time. So! This is where my happy paper crafting journey began. Watching wonderfully, talented, and crafty individuals having so much fun sharing their creations.
Onto how this gorgeous card was made!!
I cut my piece of 12x12 card in half then cut one of the 6x12 pieces in half (only need one of these). Next, I took the other 6x12 piece and scored it at 3” and 6”. After burnishing these score lines, I took the 6x6 piece and glued it to the bottom 3” edge of the card, using the scored area as a guide to place the glue.
I picked out images and borders from the paper pack and cut them out. I used an exacto knife to cut out some inside images that I wanted to use, and this also allows me to use the “frames” on a future project. I also trimmed about 1/8” off the 6x6 framed piece I picked from the paper pack. After deciding on my layout I spritzed the bird image and the background for the inside of the card with shimmer spray. Next, I used Picked Raspberry Distress Ink to highlight the edges on the two main images. As a little extra detail I used the ink pad direct to all the edges on all pieces of the card, including the card base. I think that detailing gives a little extra something that I like. Next I used a Wink of Stella clear glitter pen to highlight a few areas; the pink around the border, the  bleeding hearts and birds for the front, and the large leaf and bleeding hearts for the inside.
So now all the pieces were ready to assemble. I centered and attached my border piece to the front. Used foam tape to attach the bird image and give dimension. Also used foam tape to attach the ‘happy times together’ border cuts around the image. Next, I spied my background piece to the inside bottom edge of the card, then attached the flower image on the side. 'Always and forever’ was then attached to the top edge of the background using foam tape to give the front of the card a place to rest against for display.  The very last touch to this card was adding some gun metal pearls to embellish the borders and wording.
Hope you enjoyed this card! Another pretty simple card to make with just a few supplies and some creativity!!!!!
